What have we been up too?

We visited the police the other weekend. It was quite fun. They had many displays set up and lots for the kids to see and do! The best part....it was free! Above is Jacob with the bomb robot.

Backyard Babies

That is where she slept with her babies for a few nights. We had to put the boards in the pool because they were too small to get out on their own. They were here for 4 or five days and then suddenly today I looked out and they were gone. Kinda sad, I was enjoying having them around! Maybe they will come back for another visit.

TWO months!

Well, today I requested moving companies to come to my house and give us some quotes! They come Thursday to have a look around! I can't believe that May is almost over and that means only 2 Months + a week until I am back in Calgary. DID I SAY 2 Months!!! All of a sudden that doesn't feel like enough time! Where did the year go?????

All that said. I hate packing and getting everything ready! Believe me I am very very thankful to once again be able to hire the packers!!! I really don't think I could do it without them. Especially for the breakable stuff. But this time I am going to be watching those packers very carefully! I will also pack some stuff myself. Then the clean up! Oh the fun!

I have started to tell some of the other parents. I officially told the kids school. All these things make it so real. I have been so impressed with the kids school out here that it was actually a hard thing to do. Hopefully, I will like the kids new school too!

I sure hope the next few weeks don't fly by too fast!

On a different note, I had to turn on the air conditioning today. It was hot out today! I love the sun! I hope there is more of it coming and less rain and wind!!!!!!!!

Backyard Visitors!

We have had some visitors to our backyard on regular basis. First the male came. We call him Bernie. He comes everyday. Sometimes two or three times a day you can look out our back window and see him floating around in the pool. The female comes once and a while, We call her Betty. And there have even been occasions where we have had three ducks in the pool. The third duck we call Bob. They are fun to watch and they don't appear to be afraid of the dogs. The dogs don't bother with them either. It is a busy pool these days.

Mother's Day 2009

I love gifts made by the kids!!! This year at school they made these clay butterflies. They were quite beautiful! Mother's day was great! I got to sleep in a bit, breakfast in bed, and gifts made by the kids. I am a very blessed Mother!

Question for ya?

I am having trouble uploading pictures. When I use Blogger to upload and go to my picture section only one file shows up. Yet if I am not in blogger and go to the picture section all my files show up. Any ideas out there?

Summer Beauty!

This tree is actually in our neighbor's yard. I don't know what kind of tree it is but when it blooms it is gorgeous! I couldn't resist taking pictures of the kids before church this morning! Sarah didn't want to stand there too long. Now that she is a walking machine she is all over the place and very fast!

I thought it would look neat in black and white too!
