Goodbye???

Our friends hosted a Get Lost Party for us tonight! It was great to get together with everyone, but very hard to say goodbye! I will miss hanging out, seeing people at church, and especially watching the kids play together! You have all been such great friends and that is why it is so hard to leave. We have been very blessed to have this network of friends here, maybe if you all weren't so nice and fun to be with this would go a lot easier for me. It's getting very hard to hide the tears!!! It seems like yesterday, we were waiting for a baby to arrive and that the move seemed so far away. Now, it is one week until I fly out on a plane with three kids and two dogs. Who's idea was that! Pray for me now.

Now seriously, anyone of you planning to come out East please drop in and visit, we would love to have you come! Thank you for all your encouraging words and well wishes. I do really appreciate them.

Moving

Well the boxes got packed up yesterday. Today the movers are trying to get it all in the truck. They are short one guy today and it is HOT! I don't like packing, and I don't like the Big clean up job that comes later. The movers said they would be done by 5pm, but I think they could be here until 5pm tomorrow!

Jacob

Jacob loved the water fights and being thrown into the water. Auntie Kirsten and Uncle Jeff were quite the instigators. Daddy of course sometimes led the way into some kind of water spraying. Thanks for the fun!

We took Jacob's training wheels off his bike this week. It only took a few tries and lowering the seat and he was off on his bike. I tried to get a picture but I came out with the camera too late!

Jacob loves his little sister, he is so gentle and careful with her. As you can see from the picture he likes to give her kisses.
One of the best things for me is watching the kids play with their friends and they had a great time playing with all of the kids!

Nathan

Why am I starting with Nathan, well he provided us with the best pictures and entertainment. He is fun to watch playing because he gets quite involved as you can see from the pictures.

Nathan loves this bear back pack, which is really a leash for kids. But he loves to wear it and take it to bed. But one day he found the Spiderman goggles from last year and decided they worked well with the backpack. He even did some Spiderman poses. Quite funny!

Nathan and Joshua love Buzz. They had a great time playing together and flying around with them. Joshua was kind enough to share his Buzz with Nathan so they both had one to play with.
The top picture is of Nathan and Isabella, playing around the giant sand castle.

We are Back!

We just arrived back yesterday from Penticton. The weather was awesome! It was so great to spend time with friends, watch the kids play, and enjoy the sun. I was a little sad leaving. Hopefully, I will get to come again another summer. I will miss it!
The kids added some new toys to the must have list this year. One of them, thanks to the Dureski's were water guns! The kids loved having water fights. The other toy was a surf board. All the kids eventually had one and they had a great time using them.

We wondered what it would be like to bring Sarah along. She was wonderful! She ate well, slept well and even started putting herself to sleep. She was a very good baby!

About the move, the movers and packers are booked. My van leaves tomorrow to go out East on a train. We should get the van back to us in about two weeks. Feels like it has been a long time coming and now it is happening so fast! I just want to thank everyone for all their kind words and well wishes. It has meant a lot to me! Thank You!

We're on Vacation!

This is our family last year at the beach. I can't wait! Tomorrow we will make our way to Revelstoke and then off to Penticton the next day! I love the beach and watching the kids play. Can't wait to sit and enjoy the sun with my family and friends! I'll post when we get back!

Sarah Three Months

Sarah had her three month check up early. She would officially be three months on the 17th. I can't believe she is almost three months old! She weighs 11 lbs 2 oz, and is 22 inches long. I am so blessed to have such a wonderful baby! She's been "talking" and smiling for awhile and seeing her smile brings me such joy! The boys are awesome with their sister. They love spending time with her and playing with her. I should mention that my 5 year old took these pictures. Not bad for his first time!

Being Spurred On!

The sermon at church last Sunday was about being "spurred" on. The speakers talked about moving and how they handled it. I wonder if God planned all that for me?

Now to update, Chris has found a house, we have officially rented out our house for September 1st. I haven't said much about the move, and to be honest I kind a hoped it wouldn't really happen. But at each opportunity for things to fall apart or not work out, they do work out. I guess someone up there really wants this to happen. Or Ron continues to pray harder than me!

I decided to post a few pictures of our house. And I hope the pictures will encourage people to come visit!!!!

Stampede Weekend!

We had a fun weekend, the kids and I. The kids loved the rides and of course the fireworks. At church they loved the bounce house, slide, and the face painting. It was funny to look around and see Spiderman sitting in church.

I took a few pictures of the kids today after Church and they turned out so cute.

River Fun!

Another fun activity camping was playing in the river. There was a spot where the river was quite low and the kids actually played in it. They were building dams with Gary. The kids loved it!

Frank Slide

While away camping this past weekend, we took a trip to the Frank Slide area. Quite an interesting place to visit. Hard to imagine a whole mountain coming down on top of an entire town. Some of the information said the rocks came as fast as 120km per hour. Amazing! It was quite hot walking through the rock area. For Sarah's sake who can't wear sunscreen yet, we didn't stay too long.

Back From Camping!

We are back from a fun time camping with many great friends! It was a beautiful spot near the town of Blairmore in the Crowsnest Pass. Our sites were quite close to the river you can see in the pictures. The kids did really well with obeying the rules of not going too close. The kids really enjoyed "fishing" with their rods and attached fake fish. Sarah slept in her swing. We had wonderful weather! It was HOT! Yeay! Finally some sun!

The kids of course enjoyed the pool as well! It was Sarah's first time in the water. We didn't think she would like it much because it was sooooo cold. But she actually started falling asleep! May be we have another water baby? I guess time will tell.
