Pumpkin Hunting 2008

Okay so I wonder how many scrapbooking Moms come here just for this sign and set up for pictures?
Our little pumpkin!

The big ones too!

Pumpkin Hunters!

Trying to find that special one!

What a real pumpkin patch looks like...and yes there were still pumpkins in the patch!

Nathan trying to pull the wagon.

Who knew there were so many different kinds of pumpkins???

Can you believe this place. I was in pumpkin heaven!!!! So many to choose from and row upon row of them! The kids were quite excited to see all the pumpkins too. The trouble is finding that special one. I could have taken home a few more than we did but who knows there is still time...I could go back.

Mums are big right now. They are EVERYWHERE!

Not a real graveyard in case you were worried.

We ended our trip to the farm with an adventure through the corn maze!

We had a great day together and found some fabulous pumpkins!

Visiting the Falls!

A little dryer further down.

We got a little more wet up closer to the falls!

Jacob and Nathan got a new book earlier this week. The book had a picture of the falls. So we talked about the falls and the boys decided they wanted to go and see them. Really quite beautiful! The boys enjoyed their trip and we did too!
We also did a little shopping at the outlet malls in the states! Let's just say Sarah is a spoiled little girl!

More of Sarah...and the Frog!

I love her smile!!

Is this a frog or toad, I don't know for sure but he came back to the yard. He's probably about 5-6 inches long. He likes to hang out by the garden area. The dogs enjoy checking him out, but I am not convinced he likes it. The boys like to try to find him.

Sunset at the beach!

We heard from a campground that they had space for us to put our trailer. So we went out there last night to choose from the lots available. They had about 8 spaces available. We choose one of the first ones we saw. It actually had some fencing. Thought that might come in hand for a certain little girl. But is was a good size, no neighbors behind us, private....so we chose that one. Unfortunately, a lane over from Joy's family. But maybe we will see them there sometime!
SO we drove down to the beach afterwards, the kids of course went in. It was a pretty sunset! We may go back and actually camp there this weekend.

Balloons!

Sarah loved playing with these balloons. She was able to grab the string and shake them all around. It was quite funny to watch. And of course we watcher her carefully! She had a great time, and Mommy had fun playing with her!

Haircuts!

Nathan and Jacob finally got haircuts today! This is the before picture.

Looking a little more cleaned up! They have a haircut place for kids here which was a great experience, but way more expensive! They don't have a ball pit, but they have a slide. When your name is called you can go and choose your own movie or video game. Then you choose your spot where you want to sit. Each spot has its own T.V., or game station. Then you get your hair cut. When you are finished they blow up a balloon for you and put it on a string with a weight so it won't float away. They too had out suckers!
OTHER: Jacob came home from school very excited about getting to use the computers. He told us his password and that they he was only to tell his Mom or Dad the password. I guess they had helpers on the first day but he is looking forward to next time when he can do it by himself.
On our way out, i pointed out the school buses. I asked Nathan and Jacob if they would like to ride the bus. Nathan very firmly said, "no, the bus goes too fast and it is too scary for me!" So I guess he is not interested in the bus. Jacob seemed to not want to try it either. I don't mind, I like picking them up and dropping them off.
