Christmas Morning Part One!

Sarah's toy gift.
Nathan excited to show Sarah her gift.

Hmmmmmm.....what did Santa bring?

Happy with the little things!

Nathan's favorite gift! He's been waiting awhile for this!
We started off the day opening presents together. It is sooooo much fun to watch kids open their gifts. I love their excitement! I love how they watch to see what others got. I love how they love to give out the gifts! More of Christmas Day festivities to follow.

First Christmas!

It will be Sarah's first Christmas this year. So exciting! She loves the lights and crawls towards them. She reaches for the bulbs and tries to grab them. You have to wonder what she is thinking as she checks out Auntie Joy's beautiful tree. I like how this picture turned out!

It is so good to be here and hang out with friends! My Christmas wish come true. I am so thankful for out friends!

We had a fun evening with our friends tonight but I am so sorry about the carpet Uncle Darrin and Auntie Joy!!!! Hopefully this will be it!!! Sooooooo sorry!

I'm Home!

It is so good to be home. I think I can say that. I have only been away for 5 months now. I have missed quite few things. But the best part about coming has seeing the kids play with their friends like they never left. I have to admit, I was a little worried about that. I of course loved seeing all of my friends too!! Being away gives on such an appreciation for many things and even the simple things one might take for granted.

Nathan has been sick. I just hope the other two don't get sick. However, Nannie took care of him today so he could rest while we went to church. That was a BIG help! Gotta love the grandparents. They were quite excited to see Nannie too! Jacob kept hugging her.

He has figured out that Nannie does word searches which he LOVES. So he has been making her do many of them today. And being Nannie she just can't say no. I think we may have worn Nannie out.

Tomorrow we are going to go see Santa. I can't wait...yes for the picture. I will maybe post it tomorrow. Depends on how much it will cost to but the CD. If I was at home I would just scan it in. So I may not be able to.

8 Months Already?

From 6 lbs 15 oz to 15 lbs 13 oz
I will finish and add to my post tomorrow but she turned 8 Months old TODAY!
She continues to such a wonderful and happy baby.
She thinks the dogs are hilarious! When they walk away from her she cries, but if they come up close she is captivated by them! She will giggle out loud if they come up really close to her. It is quite funny to watch. I need to get it on video. Her brothers of course also provide some amazing entertainment for her. They love to get her things and spend time with her and play with her. They love her so much....it is neat to see. They call her "baby" will she ever get called by her name?
She loves baby cookies now and is eating baby food really well. She is pulling herself forward, kinda half crawling and is sitting up well.
She has figured out that if I put her in the jumper or sit her down with toys on the floor...I may just walk away. So she watches close and if I do she will cry and let me know she doesn't like that. They sure do figure things out early. I don't mind it. She is my last and I want to treasure every moment. So I usually go get her and take her with me. It doesn't happen every time but it is cute for now when it does.
She can still wear clothes 3-6 months size. She is still wearing her 0-6 months shoes and I think she will be for a while longer. We finally put her in the size 3 diapers. Well I think that is my update on Sarah. We love her very much!

First Family Pictures!

Here is the one I like the best! I do have it without the Merry Christmas part. But I liked that! I thought it turned out well. I like to have a family picture done every once and a while. The hard part is getting everyone looking where they should be!

Today was a big day. Shopping at Costco and the Mall and Walmart. All that and I am still not finished with the shopping part! Good thing I like to do it!
After shopping I cleaned up the garage which we just kinda left. The packers and movers we had were the WORST packers and movers EVER! So needless to say. After dealing with the stuff in the house I just couldn't deal with the boxes in the garage! Well I finally braved up and just did it. And...I wanted to park at least my car in the garage when it snows and rains!!!!! So a spot has opened up and while it is light out tomorrow I will finish it up!

I also hung up Christmas lights outside! It warmed up today so I thought I should take advantage of the warmer weather.

Thursday the boys are having a Winter Concert. They will be singing some kind of song! Can't wait to see them do it. Hopefully I will get a good picture viewing seat!

Yes....I Am addicted to pictures!

Sarah's 8 Month pictures...two weeks early but saves me some cash doing it all at once! I love the feature of adding their names. We went to do some family pictures and I will post them later. I was quite happy with our photo shoot.
These two pictures of Nathan and Jacob are zoomed in on from a group shot of the three of them. If you order the CD at WM they will do a bunch of changes like zooming in for close ups of individuals, converting the pictures to sepia or black and white, adding text, adding the silhouettes around the pictures, and you get all of those on the CD as well.

I thought their pictures turned out well. I love getting their pictures taken! I love to take pictures! But when they are all grown up I will love them even more!
They are growing up soooooo fast.
They know we are going to Calgary and Edmonton. They talk a lot about seeing their friends. I think they have planned their own sleepovers! Hopefully we will be able to fit a few in. They are very excited about seeing their friends. I am wondering what they will think when we arrive in Calgary and they go to Nannie`s house and have to wait to go see their friends the next day.
I can`t wait to go! It will be here before I know it. And I still have so much to do to get ready. I still have presents to buy! Looking forward to seeing you ALL! Friends and Family can`t wait!

Airbrush tattoos the boys got

Colouring activities

Mommy and Sarah

Kids in the audience watching the special science show

This Mad Science guy did a show for all the kids. The kids enjoyed it very much!

Jacob even got to participate

There were some hands on activities as well.
Making bouncy balls, making slime, and making tornadoes!
They also handed out presents for each child and bought pizza and snacks for the day too!
They also had draws for the parents. The prizes were gift cards and believe it or not we both one a gift card! Chris one $25 for dinner out somewhere (Swiss Chalet, Kelsey's or Montana's). Hmmmmm...I wonder where we will or DID use it!
I won $15 to Sobeys. So that was a nice surprise as well. We were quite impressed with the whole day and how well it was organized. It is the only company kids party I have ever been to but I thought it was GREAT! I especially like all the activities they planned for the kids! A very fun Day!

Snow Fun!

We had some snow last week. Of course while Chris was away so who had to take care of the crazy long drive way....yup ME! So while we were outside shoveling we decided to make some snowmen. Jacob wanted carrots and the whole bit, but I didn't have any. Maybe next time!

Scrapbooking Again!

I finally did some scrapbooking out here in the East! I haven't done it in so long that I was worried I had forgotten how to use my stuff! The above pictures are of Sarah. They were taken just after we picked out all of our pumpkins!

This was a kit that I bought. It worked well for the field trip the boys had. I have not added the journalling part yet...but I couldn't wait to post something. Kits are a really good way to get you back in the mood. I modified it to fit more pictures on.

We took the kids to this park and had a bunch of pictures taken. It was a beautiful day and we got some great pictures. Unfortunately, it is hard to see some of the detail. But you get the idea.

This started out as a kit, but I made a lot of changes to this one. Again, I like to fit more than three photos on a two page layout! The colors worked well with the sand and of course Sarah's pink shirt!
Now I just need to keep doing it!

Sarah's Seven Months Photos!

Isn't she beautiful!
So Precious!

Okay...I love these pictures!!! The two top ones are my favourite!! It cost me a little bit more but they were worth it! However, I bought the CD which gives me the rights to the pictures and I can print however many I want where ever I want!

Next post will have to be on Jacob to make things a little fair around here!

Nathan!

I love this picture of him. My big boy is four! Time just goes so fast. Before I know it he will be asking for my car keys on his way out somewhere! Punk # 2 I love you!

He likes to hold Sarah.

Eating His birthday cake at his party!
He asked for a Hotwheels cake and it came as cupcakes. It was the best tasting birthday cake I have had in a long time. There was a lot of icing but it wasn't too sweet! And it was super easy to hand out to everyone!

Bowling at his party.

Celebrating on his actual birthday at home.

My cute big boy!

Nathan drew this picture of our family and I was very impressed with how much detail he actually included in it. I thought he did a pretty good job! In case you are wondering I am the one with hair!:)

This is Nathan's picture of a tank. Again I thought he did a pretty good job all by himself!

Sarah is 7 Months Old!

I love this look...sooooo cute!
How she leans on one arm and reaches to get what ever it is she wants.

Playing with her blocks.

Another cute expression!

And of course the smiles!! Love those!

6 Months

Halloween Bear!

5 Months

5 Months and she really is an angel!
She is rolling all over the place and reaching for things. We have to watch her to make sure she isn't pulling things down on herself. She is loving her fruits and cereal. She likes some of her veggies mostly sweet potatoes and corn. Not a huge fan of carrots and peas. I know someone else who doesn't like peas hmmmm. She had her first teething cookie today and seemed pretty happy with that. We have also discovered she likes apple juice.
Since starting solid food my wonderful sleeper is not sleeping through the night anymore. It was getting better until this weekend when she had her first fever and stuffed up nose. I think not being able to breathe and suck her thumb keeps her waking up quite a bit. A few more days and she should be feeling better and we can get back on track to the good sleeping!
She has been saying Ma Ma Ma since she was 5 months old. But she has added Da Da Da and Na Na Na. I love that she said Ma Ma Ma first! When she is tired or wants something that is what she says.
I did weigh her today and she weighs 15 lbs and 1 oz. She is wearing mostly 3-6 months size even a one outfit that is 0-3. Anything bigger is too long for her.
She continues to be a very easy going and happy baby. Sometimes a little shy when meeting new people. I am enjoying watching her grow and develop everyday! We are so blessed!
